What I want you to know every day is a fight. What I want you to know is every fight is a choice.  What I want you to know is I choose to be here.  What I want you to know is I choose the fight, every time, even when I don't want to.  Even when I cannot, I fight.

What I want you to know is that I am disabled and really sick and I am still contributing to life.  What I want you to know is sick and disabled people don't have to fulfill a definition of worth that excludes them in order for their lives to matter.  What I want you to know is sick and disabled people are beautiful and complete and worthy of joy and love and respect.

What I want you to know is I have learned more about happiness and leading a purposeful life from illness than anything else.  I have learned the depth of joy from the most crushing devastation.  What I want to do is invite you into a conversation about our lives.

I saved you a seat.
